Have you missed us?
We have been a busy bee behind the scenes.
We have been recovering ourselves from wild weather while also getting ready for our busiest season, but we are still here and better than ever!
I hope everyone has been keeping safe, connecting with our loyal customers (you) is one of my favourite parts of running the business, so here I am (finally)!
So, what exactly has been going on?
With the warmer weather taking it’s time to arrive this year, and few major flooding events, there has been a LOT of logistical reshuffling to ensure that we can continue to fill our expanding Garden Centre with our high-quality plants. Despite the wild weather we continue to grow and move forward with our vision for the nursery.
On that note, if you have visited recently, you may have noticed our Garden Centre has had a few small expansions, including two new tables of plant varieties being added, the installation of two new water tanks (preparing for when the drier times return) and two new propagation tables so we can produce even MORE plants. Small but encouraging steps!
We are also very excited to announce that, as of this Month (November), you will be able to find our bi-monthly articles in Your Local Lifestyle Newspaper, we hope you enjoy the read!
It’s no secret that with so much pressure on small businesses over the past few years, so many of us have been forced to dig deep and find the resilience needed to push through tough times.
A big part of this has been looking at why we do what we do and to reflect on the core values of the business and how we can better connect with the local community. One core value of Native ‘R’ Us is “creating community through our love of nature and healthy environments”. It is a value that we will continue to build on with initiatives such as the National Tree Planting Day and Pinktober donations.
As always, we love any and all feedback so if you have any ideas, tips or suggestions, do feel free to let us know!
Until next time folks (keep an eye out for our first official article in November), happy planting and see you soon!
