This is my favourite Westringia because of its neat habit and vivid flowers. Compared to other Westringias, it has a more compact habit and darker purple flowers. It can be pruned to shape or left natural. A beautiful feature plant, perfect in mixed native garden beds and very attractive when mass planted. Prune 1-3 times a year after flowering.
Full sun to light shade. H. 1-1.5m W. 80cm to 1.3m. Flowers Spring and Summer.
Westringia fruiticosa ‘Blue Gem’
